Punta Prima
Punta Prima is ubicated in the northeast of the island of Formentera, a few minutes from the tourist area of Es Pujols. Surrounded by a wonderful cliff. In Punta Prima there is no sand, but the shape of the rocks allows you to stop comfortably. There are various points from which you can make ‘jumps’ into the sea from various heights; and a very popular cave. In addition to the coast, we find a whole internal part full of fields and Mediterranean vegetation, wonderful during spring.
It is worth stopping and seeing the horizon at the Torre de Sa Punta Prima, an 18th century watchtower. They go back to the days when pirates besieged the island. Once they functioned as a defense system for the Balearic Islands, because they allowed you to monitor almost every corner of the island, while now they allow you to admire exceptional panoramic views, enjoying a peaceful and regenerating spectacle in every sense.
